LIVING IN SAND artist profile>> Imagine living your life in sand. Sand above you, below you, to the left and to the right; infront of you--and yes, even behind you. While this exercise may have been amusing or perhaps frightening to you, it is absolutely nothing like the band Living In Sand, which is much more musical and a lot less sand-like. This surf rock band was formed in the summer heat in 1998 on the streets of Los Angeles. Signed to Carbine Records in early 2002, their first release was the EP Appletree March which was met with much critical acclaim. Living in Sand pushed to release their full-length album, Merrcio, a year later with producer James Olsen.
